You know that social media is a great way of reaching out to your target audience, right?  Sure you do.  I guess you also know that not creating content consistently can cause you to miss opportunities to network and build your brand. However, creating and posting content to social media can be time consuming and a bit overwhelming.  So is there a solution that you can use?  Sure there is.

HOW DO THEY DO IT?

I know you see people out there posting daily, weekly, and monthly without skipping a beat. Some of you have even asked me how I find the time to post on this blog, see clients, coach mental health professionals, run online programs, and still have a life.

Well I didn’t have a life at first!  It’s true.  I was creating content almost at the same time that I was suppose to be posting it, in the beginning.  I learned a lesson really fast from that plan.  IT WAS A BAD PLAN!  IT SUCKS THE CREATIVITY OUT OF YOU!  There was a much better solution and it is a solution that you will use too.  It’s called AUTOMATION or SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT TOOLS.

Social Media Management

AUTOMATION

Take your life back by scheduling your content ahead of time and allow your social media management tool to do the work for you.  Believe me, it feels great when you don’t have to worry about writing a fresh new blog post every week or even a few times a month because you did it in advance and you put it in your automation tool to release whenever you want.

HOOTSUITE TUTORIAL

I was in our Facebook group talking about creating content.  At some point the topic of automatic scheduling came up and I said that I happen to use HootSuite to schedule my social media posts.  There are actually many different social media management tools out there.  However, I like how easy HootSuite is to use and they have both free and paid versions.  The free version alone allows you to manage FIVE different social media platforms!

Quick Tip:  Keep a document of what you scheduled to post.  Always have a backup plan just in case!
